Name Index

Background

A number of functions in the program read or modify name records. TMG's name index is not usable by third-party programs, so this utility creates a simple name index to use in its place.

When this utility changes a name record, it can not update the TMG name index. To avoid confusion, TMG's name index is deleted. As a result, when you subsequently open the database using TMG, TMG will automatically rebuild the index.
