THE CHURCH OF SAINT JOSEPH (1689 - 1755)
SERVED THE ACADIANS LIVING BETWEEN
CORNWALLIS RIVER AND PEREAU.
THE CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH (1768 - 1874)
WAS BUILT BY THE NEW ENGLAND PLANTERS
OF HORTON AND CORNWALLIS TOWNSHIPS.
